Dan Heard On The Streets...

The City Council approved both the $2 million for the blight eradication at the Chisca Hotel site and, the monies needed to turn the dilapidated garage back into a working facility. They also approved a 1-cent a gallon tax to be put on the ballot Nov 6th, to help fund MATA so they may expand public transportation.

From our efforts to save the Hill Mansion on Union Avenue to our efforts today encompassing all of Shelby County, Memphis Heritage keeps working to preserve our area's rich history.
