THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED THE 36th ANNUAL MEETING!

We were honored to have Mr. Hal B. Howard, Jr join us for the annual membership meeting, the first since he so generously donated Howard Hall to MHI. We presented Hal with a beautiful portrait that we will hang in the Grand Salon of Howard Hall. He was very touched by this gift and pleased to hear about all the great work we accomplished this past year.

We welcomed our new 2011 Board members:

Officers are

Carl Raff, President,

Keith Kays, AIA, Vice President,

Chris Sullivan, Treasurer,

John Griffin, Secretary and

Marty Gorman, Past President.

Newly elected Board members are Jocelyn Atkinson, Mary Baker, Ashley Burkes, Jerry Copeland, Dan Johnson, Kathy Loeb, Erich Schroeder and Claire Ryan. They join existing members Roz Willis, Neely Woodson Powell, Robert Tom, Joey Hagan, DJ Naylor, and Stacie Waddell.

We are pleased and excited to have such an impressive group of leaders on our Board.

We honored Gordon Alexander as the 2nd recipient of the Red High Top Shoe Award for his dedication and diligence in trying to save the Union Avenue Methodist Church and for forming the Midtown Action Coalition. Congratulations Gordon!
