Volunteers Needed ASAP

HELP!
We are down to the wire getting ready for our big yard sale coming up June 10th and 11th. We are in need of some strong bodies to help us move items from our garage into the ASAM(Pod) container this week. We also need volunteers who can help organize.

Any time on Thursday May 26 or
Friday May 27th between 11 and 7pm.

We are separating the yard sale stuff from our Architectural Auction items. So please if you can spare an hour or so please call 272-2727 or email dmccraw@memphisheritage.org to let us know when you might be able to help.

New from Memphis Heritage

UPCOMING EVENTS

Jimmy Ogle Tours - as a public service, Jimmy Ogle will be "set up" the next four evenings (Tuesday, May 10 - Friday, May 13) on Riverside Drive between Beale and Union from 6:00 p.m. to Sunset, (with a P.A. system) talking about the Mississippi River, it's history, events, current events, flood situation, etc. for hundreds of passers-by that are coming down to view the high water.


Tuesday, May 10th 5:30 - 7pm Youth And Architecture Contest and reception at Memphis Heritage Howard Hall 2282 Madison Ave at Edgewood. Please come view some great artwork and support our youth. All welcome, and art will be on display at Howard Hall all month of May (11:30 - 3:30pm weekdays)


Thursday May 12th 6pm MID SOUTH COLISEUM MEETING at Memphis Heritage Howard Hall 2282 Madison Ave at Edgewood All interested folks welcome!


Saturday, May 14th 9am We need volunteers at a salvage site to assist in artifact removal of tiles, windows, doors etc... We will meet at Memphis Heritage at 9am SHARP at 2282 Madison Ave and go together as a group (Erich is contact - cell # 292-4763) Please bring gloves and hammers.


June 10th and 11th YARD SALE in support of Memphis Heritage at Memphis Heritage Howard Hall 2282 Madison Ave at Edgewood. Donate now and come out that weekend and BUY!

Volunteers Needed for Salvage Saturday May 14th

Attention all Preservation Posse and Volunteers:

We need help this Saturday May 14th at a salvage site.

However, we are meeting at 9am at Memphis Heritage (2282 Madison Ave) FIRST and going as a group.

PLEASE bring work gloves, hammers, masks for dust, crowbars and maybe a good puddy knife for removing some bathroom tiles if possible. Bring extras if you have them.

The contact person's cell that day is Erich at 901-292-4793, please make a note in case you are running late!
