The old Justine's Restaurant is on the market for $199,900. 
Although a lot of the architectural pieces have been stripped, this is still a diamond in the rough. Listed on the National List of Historic Places, the former home and restaurant was built in 1843.

IMPORTANT!! Proposed changes to Overton Park



According to the Overton Park Forever blog, the City of Memphis Engineering Division is planning to build a giant storm water detention basin in the Greensward. This is the grassy area between the Memphis College of Art and Rainbow Lake. The Greensward has been a park of and much used part of Overton Park since 1901. More information and images can be found on Overton Park Forever's blog. The Vollintine-Evergreen Community Association will host a public forum at their headquarters, 1680 Jackson Avenue, Wednesday March 11th at 6:30. Representatives of the City of Memphis will be on hand to answer questions.
