Meeting Wednesday Sept. 1st

Important Meeting:

Memphis Heritage Howard Hall

2282 Madison Ave

Wednesday Sept 1st at 6pm

We are extremely disappointed in the results of the 10 to 2 vote on August 24th by our City Council to allow for the demolition of the historic Union Ave. Methodist Church at Union and Cooper in order to build an ill-suited, out of place CVS Pharmacy!

To address this important issue, a meeting will be held at Memphis Heritage Howard Hall on Wednesday Sept 1st at 6pm.

We invite all individuals, groups and organizations to come together and discuss this disastrous outcome.

Now is the time for us to come together as a united front to help protect the fabric of Midtown and Historic Preservation's future, and to prevent this type of insensitive development from destroying our neighborhoods and our City.

Hope you can make it!

It is not too late to fight for Union Ave. M. C.!

Let the emails begin again! email Charlie Golden and ask him why he is not a man(company) of his word! He told the National Trust that CVS would honor their agreement to not demolish a building individually listed on the National Register. We need 1000's of emails.
